Pros: It was an exceptionally nice evening away with my wife. The staff , food and accommodation were perfect.

Aesthetically pleasing and great service

Pros: Unbelievably aesthetic, clean, well presented and beautiful decor. Staff also incredibly friendly and seamless service. The food in the restaurant was a solid 10/10 and the breakfast selection great too for the price.

A hidden Gem in stunning countryside

Pros: We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel, This has been beautifully renovated and we were lucky enough to get a room overlooking the gardens. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We had a meal in the restaurant Sunday evening and the food was amazing, as was the breakfast. We ended our stay with a coffee in the gardens with only the sound of the birds before sadly having to leave, but without a doubt we will be returning soon, So thanks to all involved in creating such a relaxing haven !!

Great stay for my wife’s birthday , great food & staff , just looks like they have rushed to get it open .

Cons: Room was lovely however for the price I paid was disappointed with the bathroom as it was not finished , walking round the grounds there were a number of unfinished jobs

Fantastic stay.

Pros: Fantastic welcome at the Hotel with attentive, friendly staff. Our room overlooked the garden and was beautifully furnished and very clean We loved the record player in the room so much we are going to buy one for home. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. Unfortunately we didn't get to taste the evening menu as we were at a nearby event, but the choices sounded excellent. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay again

Fantastic newly renovated hotel out in the countryside

Pros: I knew i had chosen the right place when i arrived and there was a dog biscuit jar in the entrance hall! I had room 2 which was lovely and spacious, high vaulted ceilings, very comfortable large bed, good shower over a bath and all the nice features of a good hotel room. They were very welcoming to both me and my dog. Nice garden to give my dog a quick walk around morning and night, as well as sit out in on a summer day. Very much set up for a beautiful wedding/event hotel without losing its charm and history.

Cons: Would be good to have a chose of brown/wholemeal bread at breakfast otherwise a great selection to suit everyone.

Fabulous Hotel!

Pros: AMAZING hotel! We received a lovely warm welcome from Victoria and Liam on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was sublime - beautifully decorated with picturesque views across the countryside. Subtle sound of a radio playing classic FM in the bedroom and lovely smelling handwash were extra nice touches. Comfy beds. Exceptional breakfast. It was a perfect night's stay and we can't wait to return!
