Beautiful stay for my boyfriends birthday with his two girls

Pros: Super cosy, the heating is so efficient! Very friendly staff on reception

Cons: We knew this ahead of time but no fridge. Something to store food would be fantastic but I do understand there’s limited space.

Just wonderfully relaxing. Beautiful setting.

Pros: Our second stay but this time in the spa huts. Beautifully planned out & private as we stayed in the spa shepherds huts. Absolutely perfect stay. Just what we needed to unwind. The hot tub & sauna were perfect. Food in the GardenRoom was just lovely & staff pleasant & helpful. We paid extra for earlier check in, lighting of the hot tub & s’mores kit. Think the 4.00 pm check in is a little too late when you have the facilities to enjoy. But other than that Couldn’t fault it. We will be back in the new year.

Cons: Felt the check in time is little late. Also the bedroom hut & relaxation hut would maybe benefit from being close together rather than being opposite each other. We did enjoy our stay so much & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends & family.

Shepherds Hut

Pros: We were at a family wedding which was fantastic. The staff were amazing and it was lovely to stay in a Shepherds hut near to other guests in a pretty setting. The beds were comfy and shower room was great.

Cons: It was a cold day and it took a while to heat up the hut. Maybe a throw on the bed would have been warming.

Booking with friends, would definitely return.

Pros: We booked our stay to celebrate a friends birthday. The huts had everything necessary for an overnight stay, and were spotlessly clean.

Pros: Quirky and peaceful, really helpful staff on reception. Great breakfast, wish we’d had more time to explore the house and spend another evening round the fire pit.

Cons: Everything was great

Weekend Trip with Family

Pros: Lovely location. Well laid out areas. My daughter and I took our grandaughters/neices for a w/e. They loved the hut, being able to run around. Very peaceful. The play area is very good, the girls spent ages on it. Excellent for families or even romantic getaways. The hut had double bunk beds, and the toilet/shower room was very clean and ideal for our stay. Tea & coffee facilities in hut a nice touch. Had breakfast at Heritage Tea Room, lovely setting. We used the firepit to toast marshmallows. I would definitely return and recommend it to family & friends

Cons: Would have been good to have a mini fridge

Great place, we'll be back!

Pros: Location was great for a stay over just off the M6. The huts are more like caravans and well equipped. Would be great for a family group as most look to be grouped in threes. Adventure playground is amazing, driving range and crazy golf was open until 9. Easy to order takeaways if you needed too. Even better that we could take our little dog (cost £10 extra) Staff really responsive before stay to answer questions etc via email.

Cons: Logs are expensive £10 a bag but included matches and firelighters etc, but convenient! Beds were not that comfy (mattress on wooden base) but since I won't do camping this is a good compromise 😅 Instructions could be a bit clearer about which gate to early exit in the morning, instructions said golf gate (which is up the drive and we didn't use to enter so had no idea was there!) So presumed the golf gate was the one next to the golf entrance, and we got stuck there for half an hour (other people had same issue!) But we eventually got out as the golf staff opened up and arrived. A little map or sentence to say which golf gate would have prevented it.
