Gorgeous olde world Inn

Pros: Such a gorgeous historic pub. Reception was excellent and tge young lad was later serving behind the bar and in the restaurant. He was so professional. The food was amazing. We had a quiet night's sleep. The Manager was so friendly in the morning serving breakfast. Loved our stay here. Would go back but booked up for the times I could go.

Cons: We had a small room and didn't realise the window would open. It was, an old fashioned sash window and didn't want to break it so was a bit stuffy. The Internet wasn't working but for the amount we, paid for the room was excellent and everything we needed was in there.

Lovely

Pros: The hotel was lovely, great rooms, great staff, great pub & lovely food. The breakfast is definitely worth getting up for......Rm 15 was spot on.

Cons: Listing to the bar staff cleaning the pipes during breakfast.......It has a tendency to kill the tranquillity. :)

Good value

Pros: Beautiful countryside setting. The staff were friendly and efficient. Real ale and pleasant wine on offer. The food on offer was mediocre.

Cons: Our room was ok, but would have loved to be able to open a window. Not possible as the frames were painted over. The shower was a bit of a dribble (room 7).
