Pros: Excellent customer service, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Love this place, I always feel that it has an ambiance of peace and quiet. Bringing the stress levels of a busy life to total relaxation just by walking in Bedrooms are small but perfect , spotless, comfortable,, the shower is amazing laying in bed listening to the sound of chorus of the birds waking up the mornings. Such a beautiful hotel I would highly recommend.

An excellent break in the winter.

Pros: A lovely old hall with an amazing ambiance, and on a winter day great log fires! Bedroom was to a good standard.

Cons: My wife had a gluten attack after the evening meal/ breakfast after emphasising being celiac and we are not sure from what? A pity as everything seemed great.

Gorgeous cosy winter stay

Pros: We absolutely love this hotel. A beautiful building which has renovated very sympathetically and keeps a lot of the original features but is also very modern. The staff were very engaging and nothing too much trouble. We booked the queen room which is stunning. The meal in the evening was beautiful and not overpriced at all, we had all three courses and it was substantial. The best part of this property is the main room with the minstrel bannister and open fire, just so gorgeous in this cold weather.

Wonderful.

Pros: Beautiful comfortable old house with friendly and attentive staff.

Cons: Loud Christmas party going on until after 12:30 right below bedroom and door to garden of function room wedged open so it was even louder.
