Accommodated an early check in so we could change for wedding and the hospitality was second to none , nothing was too m

Pros: Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and restful stay away from the hustle and bustle. As soon as you enter the Stonyhurst grounds your soul unwinds and relaxes. The staff at Theodore house are attentive and informative and make this a wonderful experience.

Pros: The staff were very welcoming, the location is beautiful, the rooms are basic but comfortable

Cons: I am not religious at all, so l felt initially that I was maybe in the wrong place for me

Beautiful overnight stay

Pros: The location was ideal, close to the wedding venue where we were attending the night reception. The setting is stunning,, very tranquil and relaxing. The approach is gorgeous. A long drive up towards Stoneyhurst college. Theodore house is next to the college. It's a lovely building surrounded by gardens. Good parking. Staff were lovely, so welcoming and very helpful Michael was extremely helpful with information before our check in day. He passed on the number of Fran, who was equally helpful and very welcoming . We had to change our check in time twice due to a cricket game. This was no trouble at all She happily ordered us a taxi to the wedding, as the location is so rural we thought we'd have trouble getting a taxi. But this wasn't a problem. We met another lovely lady at breakfast but I can't remember her name. Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. We had a garden room and the view was very nice. We would definitely return if we get the chance.

Lovely quiet stopover somewhere a bit different.

Pros: The room was really spacious and clean, the grounds are stunning and it was incredibly peaceful. The staff were so kind and attentive and we had a lovely breakfast.

Cons: Nothing! It was perfect. There are no TVs in the room but we didn't mind as there is free WiFi for any devices.

Had a nice stay in the grounds of outstanding Stonyhurst College

Pros: Breakfast was good and had a few options, the scrambled eggs on toast was very good and nice coffee, the location was good for the surrounding countryside, and Stonyhurst college and its surroundings were beautiful, but as we were going to a wedding for the day a few miles away we didn't get to explore the grounds or the surrounding area, but would like to return to the area to venture further into the forest of Bowland area.

Cons: Couldn't fault the accommodation really so nothing we didn't like

Lovely location, friendliest staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Pros: Clean, super friendly staff (thank you again to the lovely lady who left a fan outside my room because it was a really hot weekend, you’re a star).
