Pros: Stayed before. Staff were helpful. The room was spacious and lovely and clean. Great shower!

Cons: Sometime after we had booked we were informed that there was going to be a wedding party on the same night and there would be some noise until 1.00am. We were asked if we wanted to rearrange our stay, but we couldn't as we had booked that date for a specific reason. We were put on the first floor directly above the room where the wedding was being held. We got back to our room at midnight and the bedroom floor was literally vibrating because of the music downstairs which was extremely loud. The people downstairs were having a lovely time and the music did stop at 1.00am when we were finally able to sleep. Surely it would be common sense in situations like the above to put fee paying guests on the second floor and as far away from the disturbance as possible..and put the wedding party on the first floor? We paid £120 for our room. The failure of the hotel to try to minimise discomfort for guests who were not part of the wedding group was disappointing .

Clean and comfortable, lovely!

Pros: The rooms are conveniently located next to the beer hall, really lovely, big in size and very comfortable. The bathroom was also a great size and super clean. Breakfast was delicious, freshly made and hot! The staff were also all really helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Minor but the fact there is no dedicated parking for hotel guests. If you don’t manage to get a parking space on one of the side streets nearby then the carpark is a little walk away, which isn’t great in poor weather.
