Almost a great stay

Pros: Pleasant & helpful staff, lovely fresh food, comfortable bed. Great breakfast, even had it served in bed which was a treat.

Cons: Not being told that the boiler had broken down before hand, we should have been offered a warmer room before complaining. We would have felt that our custom was valued.

5 star food & service at The Millhouse

Pros: Gorgeous room, lovely staff, so helpful. Food / drinks are delicious. This is our 3rd stay & we will be back. Super dog friendly - my dogs tails wag the minute they see the front door.

A cosy winter stay

Pros: Warm, clean and comfy rooms with great decor. Slightly on the small side but it was only for one night and on the upside rooms are incredibly well stocked - a clean lavazza coffee machine, iron and ironing board all included! Breakfast was delicious! All staff were lovely and helpful.

Cons: Nothing negative to say.

Pros: Food is amazing however 1 slice of bacon isn't enough

Cons: Too many cushions on the bed, no where to put them when not on the bed, lamps whay too big, very comfy bed, fantastic bathroom, we will be back 😀

A warm welcome, friendly staff and a comfortable room

Pros: Lovely, warm and welcoming. Although our rooms were above the bar area you couldn’t hear the customers downstairs. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was excellent. We stayed on B&B and I would definitely recommend the breakfast

An absolutely lovely welcoming place to stay 😊

Pros: This was our third visit to The Millstone and it didn't disappoint. We love the place. The location is very peaceful and the staff so welcoming. Great breakfast too. We come from Scotland to visit relatives and will definitely be back 😀

Cons: Not really a criticism just personal choice, we don't like memory foam mattresses...they are far too hot...we also like to have an opening window. We will ask about this on our next visit but it won't stop us coming!

Friendly village pub with great food.

Pros: A Monday night stopover and obviously a popular place to eat and stay. Great dinner and breakfast served by friendly staff. Comfortable room with separate seating area. Will definitely return.

Excellent customer service and a special mention for Zandar who sorted out 'boiling water' in room.

Pros: Breakfast was lovely - great choice of everything, hot and cold. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were kind enough to reserve a table near the fire for us the second night which was much more pleasant.

Cons: Nothing at all.
