Pros: Very clean, big comfy bed, great shower and good value for money

Cons: Very loud in the corridors and can hear very clearly but not an issue and didn’t ruin our stay.

Pros: Good location for meeting. Friendly staff. Good food and good prize.

Cons: Very cold in toilets and rooms are a bit dark.

Pros: Large room with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the room, along with a hairdryer and ironing board.

Perfect for our needs

Pros: Location was good for the motorway, parking was very easy with plenty of room.

Cons: Found the bedroom very dark definitely needed more light.

Pros: I had a great stay at the Garner Hotel in Preston. The room doors were double locked, which made me feel very safe — perfect for solo travellers. The room itself was fairly spacious with plenty of plug sockets, a great tea and coffee selection, and a handy hairdryer. Complimentary toiletries, including shampoo and conditioner, were provided. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, and the bed and pillows were super comfy — overall, a really comfortable and secure stay. Lovely staff.

Cons: When I arrived, I asked if I could book a table for dinner but was told the restaurant was closed. I hadn’t realised this before my stay — otherwise, I would’ve planned to eat out. As a solo traveller, I didn’t feel entirely comfortable going out late to find food in an unknown location to myself. The room also didn’t have a main ceiling light, just several smaller lamps placed around the room, which made the lighting feel a bit dim And £3 for a can of Pepsi Max felt quite overpriced!

Last minute hotel was a big surprise
