The Sir Thomas Hotel

This 3-star boutique hotel is set in Liverpool’s vibrant city centre, 700 metres from Liverpool Lime Street Rail Station. The Sir Thomas Hotel is housed in the 19th century Bank of Liverpool building, mixing original character with modern comforts. It has free Wi-Fi, a stylish restaurant and cocktail bar. Each room at Sir Thomas is traditionally furnished, and features a TV, telephone, and facilities for making tea and coffee. There are also individual private bathrooms, each with a hairdryer. The contemporary Sir T Brasserie and Bar serves a variety of international and British cuisine, including locally reared steaks, regional dishes and a children's menu. Good location , breakfast and price

Pros: Excellent location, rooms are functional clean and tidy. Good breakfast prepared for you , not a help yourself buffet. Value for money i think this is the best hotel in Liverpool have paid double or more for a less enjoyable stay. We stay over in Liverpool often and this is our first time in The Sir Thomas and it wont be our last.

Fulfilled our requirements and would have been more fun if the weather had been warmer and less wind

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff. very useful parking arrangement if you get your sat. nav. set up properly

Cons: slightly complicated arrival at the side (closed )entrance on double yellow lines at traffic lights on a one way street

So enjoyable

Pros: Location very central staff very friendly and helpful food was delicious lifts to all floors all rooms had tea coffee hot chocolate biscuits plus hair dryer iron and ironing board.Room service every day. Rooms darkly decorated but in keeping with the ambience of building would highly recommend

Great value for a very pleasant hotel

Pros: Great location, in a lovely old building. Spacious room and a good breakfast. Really good value for the price.

Cons: It’s an old building so some of the sound proofing and ventilation isn’t great.

Second time back, great location

Pros: Rooms were clean and spacious, bathroom was spotless, staff were friendly, the breakfast was lovely, plenty of selection.

Cons: Chilly in the room but warmed up, later in the evening. Drinks were a little over priced.

Fab location to explore Liverpool

Pros: Fab location. Friendly staff Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast Large modern room/hotel/decor Bonus, good discount on parking

Cons: Unfortunately, a lot of street noise, but due to location probably expected There was an issue with the shower. Taking a long time to get hot, then just ended up being a trickle, then stopped running on the 1st night. 2nd night, no hot water at all. Hopefully this was a temporary blip, as otherwise a great hotel.
