Highly recommend - lovely bolthole in historic Lancaster.

Pros: Beautiful Georgian property with everything needed and no clutter. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. Lovely touches in the kitchen, including fresh milk - thank you! Superb location for the castle.

Cons: I would have preferred bigger towels and the option of more small towels too. It was cold at night and one of our party didn't have enough blankets.

Pros: Beautiful period home, excellent location in a gorgeous part of town, below the castle. Atkinson’s around the corner for an excellent coffee. Walking distance into the city. Excellent stay

Great historical house

Pros: Lovely historic house with parking and very central. The owner was very helpful and easy to contact when we had a few minor issues with the key and the freezer. Loved the historical feel to the house.

Cons: If you like wonky floors, you'll be fine. House is on 3 floors so may not suit everyone.

Pros: Close to town centre walking disctance. Parking space is an advantage.

Cons: Didnt like the shower - difficult to shower with curtains close by. Garbage bin was full. Steps too high to go toilet.

Georgian luxury

Pros: Beautiful Georgian house perfectly located near the castle and a stones throw from the city centre and all possible amenities. There is a well equipped kitchen, stylish lounge, excellent bathroom and super-comfy bedrooms. The heating system was easy to work and responsive and there was lashings of hot water. Delightful
