Pros: The hosts were truly kind, and the accommodation was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was excellent, being close to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Thank you so much for giving us such happy memories in Blackpool.

Pros: Perfect place to stay for a family break in Blackpool. John and Donna were brilliant hosts As a family we have stayed in many Blackpool many times either in B&B's or the big established hotels, the ELMFIELD will always be my choice from now on. John & Donna couldn't do enough for us...breakfast (which was fantastic) at anytime, my teenage girls wanted a sleep in, John sorted out a continent breakfast for them. The couples 20plus years experience absolutely showed. IF YOU'RE GOING TO BLACKPOOL AS A FAMILY BOOK THE ELMFIELD!!!!
Cons: Absolutely no negative about this excellent hotel.

Blackpool bargain, even in high season
Pros: Very conveniently located for the Pleasure Beach and the Sand Castle water park, and also for sea swimming away from the piers although the tide was half-way to the Isle of Man when we were there so I didn't bother! The rooms are great value for money if you literally just want somewhere to sleep. The fridge is an added bonus, although the noise of it did wake me as I came into the lighter phases of sleep, so earplugs might be a good idea. The owners are super-friendly and very accommodating - we were able to leave our car there until nighttime on the day of our departure for no extra charge. Breakfast was a selection of cereals and fruit juice, followed by full English and toast. Set us up just nicely for a family wedding on the Saturday, then a day of Blackpool fun on the Sunday.
Cons: Breakfast time is a little restrictive - worked fine for us, although I'd considered squishing in parkrun on the Saturday morning, but then wouldn't have been able to get anything to eat back at the hotel... A little updating of certain aspects might also be a good idea - the shower in our room featured a fair bit of duct tape, which made me a wee bit nervous. It wouldn't put me off staying again, though.

Fabulously welcoming hosts!
Pros: This place is such a gem of which you don't see many these days. The hosts are absolutely lovely and welcoming, having a cap parking space reserved for us when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Incredibly welcoming they made sure we had anything we needed and escorted us to our room. The room was comfortable and the shower pressure brilliant. Perfect location for our needs
Cons: Our stay was cur short due to the cancellation of the local festival which we had travelled up for and so we left early however this is no reflection on the accommodation at all which was absolutely lovely and comfortable.
