Mum,daughter and grandson night away

Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy to park. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice clean room with all we needed. We enjoyed a nice hot bath on the evening of our stay and toiletries were available. Breakfast was lovely. All freshly cooked in the tearoom attached. No rush . Megan was a superb hostess and nothing was any trouble and she gave us some good ideas of local places to visit. We met Margaret, and she was a very friendly lady. Would love to return one day.

Lovely place and fantastic host.

Pros: Very homely atmosphere with all you would need for an overnight stay. We met the host at breakfast and she was both welcoming and friendly. The breakfast in the tea shop was lovely and more than we could eat or wish for. Will be staying again in the future.

Cons: Nothing.

A home from home in every which way !

Pros: When I first walked in, I thought I’d walked into somebody’s home, and after two nights and three days I certainly felt like I was at home. Aunty Mary, that I learned she is affectionately known as by the locals was the perfect host and Meghan, her granddaughter was extremely helpful finding me a route back to Glasgow and secure the last seat on the bus when the train was cancelled.

Pros: What an absolute gem of a place - was easy to find, had plenty of parking spaces, entrance was gorgeous as it was halloween and all decked up, there was a nice big bathroom and comfy beds. To top it off the breakfast was superb - cooked to perfection. Will definitely stay here again.
