A treat to stay in a cottage part of a country stately manor house. Well worth the experience.

Pros: Excellent location within a stately home experience.

Cons: Forgot to bring some basics for food, but host kindly provided milk, tea, coffee and croissants.

Homely and quirky historic apartment.

Pros: Unbelievable location within a grand estate. Unique and interesting buildings. Some really interesting antique pieces to admire. Great for one or two nights in a peaceful location. Having croissants and jam provided was a lovely touch. Absolutely stunning grounds and walled garden.

Cons: The bathroom is quite small, and I would have preferred a king-size bed ( the bedroom is large enough). Some of the light bulbs in the lamps weren't working.

Beautiful, comfortable and well worth every penny!

Pros: Absolutely beautiful grounds and property! The walled garden was super pleasant to walk around and the apartment was lovely and clean, the fire was nice to light and everything was accommodated for.

Cons: Missing body wash in the shower but no biggie!

Pros: Wonderful property, in a beautiful surrounding. Full of character and period decor, but impressive modern fittings and facilities. A luxurious stay, perfect cosy evening with a wood fire, short distance to Lancaster for a day out.
