Perfect stay

Pros: Great location had a meal which was wonderful and hot large portions 👍 Staff helpful

Cons: The bin in the bathroom hadn’t been emptied from the last guests . Forgotten to leave a sheet for pullout bed and no duvet cover on the spare duvet for the pullout bed probably just an over sight .

Comfortable. Clean. Cosy.

Pros: Room was absolutely stunning. It was so clean. It exceeded beyond my expectations.

Cons: Nothing.

A smashing little place where you can simply go with the flow...

Pros: The location of the pub in village, the food, the drink, the clientele, the atmosphere.

Cons: The mattress in my bed was too soft for my liking which is a personal thing.

Pros: The staff were amazing. They couldn't be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was also top notch.

Pros: No breakfast on offer - staff really good -?room was smaller than expected !!

Pros: Ideal place to stay when meeting up with family, food was very tasty , great beer garden to enjoy when the sun is out. Staff were friendly. Short walk to train station. Local shop with very reasonable prices. Excellent chip / Chinese shop nearby.

Cons: Knew before we arrived but no breakfast served. Not that it stopped us from staying. Nearby shop sells coffee and light bites.

Pros: Wonderful people. Nice and comfy place. Extremely peaceful.

Great place to stay. Facilities, accomodation and staff were spot on.

Pros: Perfect stay at the Hope and Anchor. The atmosphere in the Bar downstairs was relaxed and welcoming. Staff were friendly and accomodating. We arrived late and the kitchen was closed. We were allowed to bring in a chinese takeaway from next door, and was provided with plates and cutlery. The room itself was very clean, and way above the standard we were expecting. We was travelling with our dog, and he was welcomed. The manager even made a point of letting us know that once the pub was closed, we were very welcome to let our dog off lead to run in the gardens. Ideal location for our needs.

Cons: Loved everything - wish we could have stayed longer than the one night booked.

Just right

Pros: The room had everything we wanted. The bed and the pillows very comfortable. Bathroom and shower spotless and roomy. We had a very tasty meal on one of the nights and the beer was kept well.

Cons: We didn’t find anything to do in Flookburgh itself but it is very near to Cartmel and Grange over sands to visit. And we got the train over to Arnside.
