Ambrose Hotel

Outstanding

Pros: Very good location. Room was very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I could not fault anything about my stay. Would definitely stay agin.

Came here to do a gig cant say i did much sleeping but was welcomed by staff drinks were cheap rooms were immaculatex

Ambrose Hotel

Pros: The hotel bar was very friendly and welcoming and, not only the staff, but the regulars too. It offers a wide variety of beers on draught, with a decent array of spirits and wines also available. Three different SKY TV boxes linked to multiple large screen TVs means that there is plenty to choose from to watch, if that's your thing.... especially handy for football fans. You can alternatively sit in a quiet corner for a chat. Food is available for eating in the bar, or to take to your room if you'd rather do that. All topped off by wonderful staff. Well worth a visit.

Cons: I wasn't too happy with the beds. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the springs were very annoying.

Pros: Great food options on a night - burgers / pizzas all looked good

Pros: Property was very convenient for me in a very good location and the food was absolutely beautiful

Dirty Food great value for money, lovely staff.

Pros: All Hotel staff are so lovely, polite and catered for myself and my dog very well. Thank you very much.

Cons: (Not the hotels fault) for me I tried to have an early night, however I was woken up numerous occasions due to chants and cheers from the football. Nothing that can be helped from the hotel, it’s just something I knew what I was signing up for.

Pros: The hotel was ideal for the purpose of our stopover and the room was really fully equipped with our needs and very fresh and comfortable.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Great friendly staff plenty of parking across the road great location

Pros: Great bar takeaway on site fridge and toaster on the landing very useful clean large rooms

Restful

Pros: Use of cutlery, crockery, microwave, fridge, kettle. Comfortable bed.

Cons: Some noise from the beer garden below late at night.
