Pros: The homely feeling, fireplace,spacious kitchen. The heating was on on the arrival. Quiet village. Beautiful garden.

Cons: The bedframe was loose and very loud while turning at night. It kept the kids awake. Could do with a welcome sack of logs free of charge. The front bedroom smelt of dump. The welcome pack could do with an update. The large shower head had no hot water no matter how we would try it.

Woodburn Cottage

Pros: Host was very helpful and accommodating. Garden and beck were beautiful. Wood stove was a plus.

Cons: As noted in description- parking is a little tight. Phone signal is very limited so reliant on WiFi.

Great cottage with an idilic garden

Pros: Great cottage,comfortable beds,great garden lovely village great owner

Cons: Not property fault but local shop had closed and the only pub opened Thurs-Sunday so had to drive to shops etc but didn’t detract from our stay

Fantastic little cottage with the bonus of dog friendly

Pros: It was perfect, ideal location for driving close by to some of the best things to see! It was a perfect little cottage for us and our dog, it was very clean, extremely comfortable and it was lovely to be greeted with a bottle of wine and milk.

Cons: Booking.com had failed to let us know that the owner had informed them they had a freak storm which had left a damp patch on the lounge floor. I messaged the owner myself and he was very nice about it and mentioned how he had asked booking.com to contact me, it wasn't a problem for us but it would have been nice for booking.com to have informed us prior.
