Pros: Garth nook barn is a lovely little place to stay. The property and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The kitchen was well equipt with the stuff you would need for your stay. Beds made with towels, brilliant wifi and smart TV with Netflix etc for those lazy afternoons, the property was lovely and warm even at the end of January when we stayed. Would highly recommend staying at this property!

Beautiful property, great hosts, comfy beds. Difficult to find.

Pros: This was a fantastic property. The hosts were so accommodating for us as we had some last minute change of plans due to illness, and they met us upon arrival to ensure everything was ok. Lovely cottagey feeling property, very clean. Location was perfect for us, 20 minutes from Windermere, local pubs and takeaways, and Ulverston town a 10/15 minute drive for any amenities. Beds were very comfy and the bathroom was lovely. Everything was provided to accommodate our 2.5 year old toddler, including a great cot, with blankets, and the high chair.

Cons: It was difficult to find this property using the directions and address provided on booking.com. We ended up in the wrong area, so maybe more specific instructions would be better for future. Also, there were no glasses available in the kitchen, only wine glasses. It would have been nice to have some to drink out of.

Quiet, relaxing and worth the money.

Pros: Lovely quiet location, comfortable furniture and tastefully decorated throughout. Great off street parking which seemed quite secure. I'd love to stay again.

Cons: There wasn't anything that jumped out to be honest.

Pros: Lovely and cosy, had everything you need and more. Hosts even set up a travel cot for us as they knew we had a baby.

Pros: Cozy, lovely place. Silent. Everything perfect, even with a parking space available. More than enough space for 4 adults. A pint of fresh local milk was left for us! Delicious!

Cons: Missed more towels (we were 4) and a proper sponge scourer in the kitchen. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
