Pros: Lovely spot with easy access to all the major local sites of interest. Very quiet and private.

Cons: Atmospherics played havoc with TV signal ( for the dark rainy evenings in) but there was tons of dvds and games provided so plenty to keep amused

Idyllic setting for exploring the south and west lakes.

Pros: Loved everything about this quiet secluded property. Overlooking a wonderful field full of all sorts of animals.

Cons: I little more thought in so much as hooks outside for towels (near hot tub) and in side the bathrooms would be useful. BBQ wire brush would have been also useful.

perfect for an anniversary stay

Pros: This lodge is like a home away from home. it’s really cosy and comfortable and has everything you would need. the hot tub and the view is just amazing. we didn’t want to leave.

Pros: Peaceful and perfect for a quick trip away to relax. Hot tub very easy to use and if your lucky a touch of stargazing in the hot tub is a must. The zoo is only 10 mins down the road and plenty of great pubs around Ulverston.
