Pros: Lovely cosy home.The house have everything you need for a family brake ,weekend ,or even hollyday .perfect for families ,groups and people who love nature . We highly reccomend !

Cons: The bins outside was full ,but that its not end of the world .Lovely property .

I would stay again but the private road leading to Grange Cottage would need some maintenance first!

Pros: The location was excellent, nestled in the heart of the countryside. Beautiful scenery, lakes, ducks, sheep, so much wildlife. Idyllic. So peaceful and quiet if you want a retreat away from everything this is a place to stay. 20 minute walk to Lottie's Café, absolutely amazing breakfast, the 20 minute uphill walk back may be a struggle for some. In the car takes three to four mins. The rental company allowed us an extra hour to checkout which was great. There was a loaf of bread for us upon arrival. The cottage is stunning.

Cons: People should be aware that the private road to the Grange is not lit nor is it by any means perfect. Sheer drop on one side and the railings do need attention. If it was icy I believe cars would struggle arriving to and departing from The Grange Cottage. Best to arrive in daylight as it is easier to navigate the road to the cottage. More towels needed. Heating could be turned up more but the hot water was great. When we arrived it was cold and dark, the hosts possibly could have turned the heating and lights on before our arrival. TV did not work so we contacted the hosts, they explained that it was not a smart TV and the fire stick was missing since a previous stay. I think this should have been remedied before hand as this was included in the stay. Slightly musty smell but to be expected from a property of this age. Property in need of some TLC. Lots of rubbish piled by the bins.
