Lunecliffe Country lodge-Lancaster Gateway to the Lakes

Peaceful location near the city centre

Pros: We loved the location, it was peaceful and rural, with lovely views of horses and sheep, but also an easy walk from the city centre (30 minutes along the canal footpath). The lodge was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. We had a relaxing stay.

Pros: Brilliant location, brilliant hosts, best Christmas for years! Thank you.

A lovely relaxing stay

Pros: The location was perfect as it was rural enough to give us peace and quiet but close enough to have everything we needed. The accommodation was clean nd comfortable with everything we needed and more included. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch too! The host was friendly and non intrusive and communication was great throughout. The scenery was stunning and we loved seeing the horses too.

Cons: The entrance to the grounds was a little difficult in bad weather but manageable

Pros: I had an amazing stay at the Luneciffe Country Lodge near Lancaster! The lodge is beautifully presented—clean, modern, and wonderfully cozy. The large windows let in so much natural light, giving the whole space a bright and welcoming feel. The peaceful countryside setting was exactly what I needed for a relaxing break, with gorgeous open views right from the deck. The location is ideal too. Close enough to Lancaster for convenience, yet perfectly positioned as a gateway to the Lake District. It made exploring the surrounding area incredibly easy and enjoyable.

A little Gem

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. We walked into the city along the canal which was lovely. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful scenery, horses and sheep. We spotted wild deer in the fields. Very well equpped and comfortable lodge. Sarah welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips on where we could eat. We would 100% choose to stay here and and we all loved Lancaster.

Cons: We pretty much loved absolutely everything but if i had to say anything in this box i would feedback that one of the single beds was a little too soft and bouncy for my daughters preference.

Relaxing break with everything that we needed and a lovely warm welcome!

Amazing, relaxing family getaway.

Pros: The property was absolutely spotless and we had the most amazing time with our two children. It was comfortable and the location was perfect.

Pros: Our fourth stay and very satisfied as before. The addition of wifi was greatly appreciated. Good to have a friendly and understanding host -thank you Sarah. The view.
