A war

Pros: We had a warm welcome from the owner who was happy to give advice on the area. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotless. The breakfast menu had a good choice to accommodate all tastes.

Cons: Nothing.

Most enjoyable. Never been to St Anne's before and am glad I backed the 'right horse', so to speak.

Pros: OK. Room was lovely and very clean also. Breakfast I couldn't fault - didn't need a main meal that day. Lady who cooked it was lovely - sorry for making you jump y/day morning. Would I stay again? Definitely. Was visiting a good friend and next time am up, will not feel the need to look any further.

Cons: The weather, but understand that was totally beyond your control. :-D

You wont want to stay anywhere else once you have stayed at Howarth House.

Pros: This is our forth visit and we was nit disappointed. St Annes is a beautiful place and staying at Howarth House is the cherry on top.

Cons: Excellent staff and very friendly and accommodating owner. We take our dog and as dogs are welcome it is a holiday for him also. The hotel is very clean, staff are friendly, beds are comfortable and rooms are loverly. Breakfast is amazing and price is more than reasonable.

Howarth House a Beautiful Hotel

Pros: We arrived a little early, I only wanted to leave the car at the hotel car park. Sue said, it was fine and said we could go to our rooms, as they were ready if we wanted. Our room was lovely and bright, on the front of the house. Very comfotable bed, with small shower room, Tea/coffee in room with a small assortment of chocolates in a bowl, which I thought was a lovely touch as it was valantine's weekend. Breakfast was lovely, with a nice choice from grapefruit, cereal and full cooked breakfast and lots more... Staff are very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is just one street back from the front, and just a small walk to shops. We had a lovely weekend and would defantly stay gain Thankyou to All the staff x

Cons: Not their fault, but the car park is very small and tight, with not a lot of spaces.

2nd Visit, Valentines Weekend

Pros: My 2nd visit and everything is spot on. Check-in very rapid, we were in Room 7, a nice sized double room with good ensuite. Lovely heating within room and hotel, immaculately clean, well maintained and decorated. A feature I was not aware of was hotel guests at Howarth House Hotel, can make use of swimming pool, jacuzzi,steam room and sauna at Hy Hotel. A few mins walk away, opposite Ashton Gardens. Swimming pool needs to be pre-booked, time slot. Free lockers, towels are available, but you can take your own towel. Changing room is a bit small, but there is a toilet, shower,bench. The jacuzzi and pool we made use of and it was lovely and warm, clear. A good night's sleep in comfortable bed, luxury pillows. Breakfast is scrumptious, good choices, freshly made, delicious and worth it.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Excellent weekend break stay.

Pros: Beautiful place , bedroom was lovely, very comfortable, lovely breakfast, definitely will be staying again.

Pros: Breakfast lovely and hot room really clean and had everything you needed lovely staff and host

Cons: The only criticism and it's a very small 1 my partner needs a more firmer mattress because of a back injury and our mattress was just slightly too soft .

Pros: The location, the decor, friendly and informative staff, lovely welcome, comfy room, the breakfast choice. Lovely and warm throughout. Spotless clean. Additional heater for toilet. Beautiful doggies!

Pros: Loved everything about this hotel the staff was very helpful and friendly and they are so doggy friendly as well our little girl loved her stay there as well. The beds was very comfortable which is what we needed after a long drive
