Truly blissful break

Pros: Love it here the pure peace and tranquility is second to none, having the hot tub and log fire at your disposal really makes it a luxury get away. Lovely touch being left a sticky toffee pud and a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge upon arrival. The Swaredale Lodge was absolutely perfect very modern had everything we needed and more we just wish we could have stayed forever.

Amazing lodge in superb location

Pros: Fabulous location and beautiful lodge... we loved it there! The hot tub was superb also. Its within walking distance of Cartmel ... so easy to find too!

Cons: Nothing... its not cheap at £750 for a weekend- but its worth every penny - we would return for sure

Amazing night stay

Pros: I loved the accommodation it was very quiet and comfortable and the hot tub was very relaxing I couldn't recommend this place enough

Very peaceful great area not as private as expected

Pros: Very peaceful apart from the hot tub guy who randomly turns up unexpectedly but according to him he doesn’t need permission so privacy isn’t guaranteed but the venders lodge we stayed in was enjoyable and relaxing apart from the hot tub guy

Cons: Hot tub guy was a bit unexpected a knock on the door would have been a little more polite especially when women are around sunbathing and could be in the hot tub but the hot tub guy doesn’t need permission according to him

Cons: The bed wasn't that comfy and the table and chairs was a little tired and worn The couch was broke.

Great stay walking distance to Cartmel

Pros: Good size lodge, great facilities that were well looked after. Quiet location. Good bathroom. Hot tub great.

Cons: Bed was small and mattress not in great condition. Very warm and hard to control temperature

Would defo stay again and recommend others

Pros: Lovely location, town is beautiful with all the convenience, lovely areas to walk and the hot tub was amazing

Cons: Nothing really to complain about, fairly priced, lovely lodge, hot tub well managed, staff very helpful
