Pros: The property is just lovely! Perfect location close to the main attractions of the park. The park itself was very good, food and drinks at the restaurant good value and good service. We visited out of season so couldnβt enjoy the outdoor pool but we did have the indoor booked which was lovely, would we return hereβ¦.? 100%

Pros: Beautiful lodge in a lovely position, right on the edge of the lake, with a good handy parking space a few metres away. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Comfortable lounge & bedroom. Well equipped kitchen & plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, & pans. Bathroom small but functional with a good powerful shower. Nice decking area with lovely comfortable furniture.
Cons: Be aware that absolutely nothing extra is provided. You need to bring your own towels, tea towels, washing up liquid, cleaning products, toilet rolls, even your own bath mat ! After a long drive, a couple of teabags and a pint of milk in the fridge would have been very welcome for a quick cuppa before going shopping. I always like to clean before I leave a property as we have our dog with us (that's just me) but this wasn't really possible due to the lack of cleaning materials and vacuum. There is nothing to welcome you to the property - no welcome pack with WiFi code, local guides & attractions, instructions for heating etc, emergency contact numbers etc. WiFi is a bit hit & miss and needs to be reset 2 or 3 times a day. This isn't a major problem as it doesn't take long, but is something that should be put in a welcome pack. This is all standard in most properties. We use self catering properties 3 - 4 times a year and have never stayed anywhere where absolutely nothing is provided. It's a shame because it's a beautiful property, just needs more attention to detail to appear more welcoming. Hope this feedback helps in a positive way, to bring this beautiful property up to the standard it deserves. Nothing to do with the property but be very careful if you go to the restaurant, they have different closing times every day. We went on the 1st night around 7.50pm, downloaded the QR code for menu & ordered & paid for food online. 5 minutes later a member of staff appeared to say the kitchen closed at 8pm & she would therefore have to cancel our order & arrange a refund. This was 2 weeks ago & I'm still waiting. Finally got through to speak to someone yesterday who advised refunds take up to 28 days!!!
