Tranquil and beautiful place, where you will be spoilt.

Pros: There was everything you could think of, sleep spray for your pillow, shampoo and conditioner, cotton wool, dressing gowns, slippers. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious. The hot tub was lovely. It made our stay such a special time. Thank you.

Cons: That I was not staying for longer. There was nothing else to not like.

Cory and Holly do the owners proud we could not fault a thing! AMAZING!

Pros: The breakfast - the hosts Cory and Holly - the entire room accommodation - the hot tub the location and peaceful garden.. everything was superb. Perfect, relaxing, recharge and reset getaway! Loved it! Will be back!

A Perfect Get Away

Pros: The room is exceptional. It's quiet and private. We're able to enjoy the hot tub without any disturbances. It's chill (2-3 degrees at night) but the tub is warm enough to enjoy it outdoors. We're happy to enjoy breakfast in our room everyday. There are several options for food AND you can choose when they are served, from 7 till 9am. The hosts (Cory and Holly) are wonderful and helpful, super friendly and at their best to serve. We're not an outgoing type but there are plenty to walk/hike/visit during the day. We spend most of our time inside the room to play boardgames and using the hot tub, bath......

Cons: Really nothing.

Excellent 3 night stay and lovely hosts and breakfast

Pros: Lovely property and spacious well decorated room with lovely free standing bath. In a very quiet area with lots of woodland walks nearby which were excellent for the dogs. The hosts Cory and Holly were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast served in our room each morning was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay as did our two dogs. Will be returning in 2026!

Perfection.

Pros: How brilliantly dog friendly the property and staff were. This was the first time we had stayed somewhere with my wee rescue dog who gets a bit anxious and it was superb. The standards of the rooms, the attention to detail such as birthday cake for my husband upon arrival and the excellent customer service make this a place we will definitely return to.

Cons: Nothing, it was all wonderful with the exception of the weather! However the lovely pagoda covered hot tub was a perfect place to be on a rainy Cumbrian afternoon.
