A gem in The Lakes!

Pros: The cottage was exceptionally clean and very well equipped, with little gifts of sweet treats and a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in the fridge for us. The nearby private garden with the hot tub was fun, unfortunately not made much use of as the weather turned colder, but that only made the cottage itself more cosy.

Cons: The smoke alarm had a tendency to be set off as soon as the toaster is used. But much rather safety than the quick spell of noise intrusion.
