Pros: This place is a real gem—we’ve already stayed twice in just a few months, which says it all! The lodge is tucked away on peaceful farmland with stunning views you can enjoy any time of day, whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, relaxing on the deck, or opening up the large bifold doors to bring the outside in. Everything is clean, beautifully maintained, and clearly well looked after. The lodge is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing escape, yet it’s just a short walk into the lovely village of Cartmel and only a quick drive to explore more of the Lake District. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back again!
