Nice stay Cartmel is lovely lots of good eating places and walks

Pros: Central lovely big room and bath bed a bit old and creaky lol

Cons: Had to have breakfast in a cafe and it didn’t open till 9 we would of preferred it earlier

Great pub b&b

Pros: Great location, easy check in and out, lovely room and bathroom.

Cons: A little noisy from the pub until it closed. I should have expected that staying directly above the bar so a minor criticism.

A very nice little country pub. Reasonably priced.Good food. Not a great choice but generous portions.

Pros: Perfect location. Looks a little tired.,would really benefit from new stair carpet! There isn’t a level floor once you go upstairs but that’s part of the charm.It’s very cozy and comfortable.

Cons: There wasn’t anything really. Abit of decoration wouldn’t go amiss.

Weekend in Cartmel.

Pros: The room was excellent, with a 4-poster bed and an amazing bath too although we didn't find time to use it. The food was good if a little pricey, and the live music was excellent over the weekend. Breakfast was great in the cafe opposite, this is included in the price. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Overall I would recommend and I would return.

Cons: There is absolutely no parking available except at the nearby race course at £13 for 24 hours. This should be made clear in the property description. The tv is difficult to see from the bed and no one was available to hand keys to on checkout. These were minor issues though and I wouldn't be put off by them. Go you will enjoy it.
