Gorgeous weekend away

Pros: The Lodge is spotless and everything you need. It is very comfortable with a lovely view. I loved the little extras of the tinfoil over the pans and extras. My dog even got a sweet little gift. The towels are soft and white and the linen is spotless The walks are incredible with beautiful bird life. There is nothing you want in this Lodge. They have thought about everything . Highly recommended and we will be back. Loved i could pay extra for late checkout9

Family Betwixtmas Break

Pros: Spotlessly clean, warm and well appointed. We'd never been to the area and it was delightful. We hiked up Pendle Hill which was ace. Clitheroe is lovely. The site is beautifully managed and we saw a heron on the lake! They'd put a Christmas tree in the lodge which was a lovely touch.

Cons: The lodge is surprisingly close to a busy main road, so whilst the view is great, and the site itself is peaceful, it is rather noisy from traffic. Out ahead of you is the rolling Pendle Hill; behind you is a McDonald's and retail park on an A road. The road is well screened off but a little distracting.

Beautiful Lodge

Pros: The lodge was absolutely stunning. Very comfortable and spacious. The decor was tasteful and modern. Well equipped with everything you may need. A card and a present were left for my dog which I thought was a lovely touch. The park itself is well maintained and clean and there are some beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Communication with the host was excellent. I was well informed as to what was included, how to get there and what to do upon arrival. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Pros: Had a brilliant weekend.the lodge was gergous beds was excellent so homely. Staff couldn’t do enought for us.my dog even got a welcome present.the views are fantastic 10/10.

Lovely and relaxing few days

Pros: Good location of lodge and it was very clean and high standard furnishings. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice touch with the Christmas tree and decorations

Pros: The location and quality of the lodge was perfect, communications with host was ideal, all round really good break

Pros: Great lodge with excellent facilities with a real home from home feel to it. Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Good location for a short stay. Overall reasonable accommodation and value

Pros: Location was easy to find by road and not so far to walk to local shops, although a car would be better. The accommodation was comfortable (there were 3 in our group). The Holiday Park was well laid out and had good views of the local scenery.

Cons: There were no big problems and the host is contactable if something did need resolving. However it was just some small things that could have made things even better: set of coaster mats; a bread knife; a toast rack and the instructions for microwave operation

Great value for money and exceeded expectations.

Pros: The lodge was much bigger than expected and really well equipped and clean. It was in a lovely setting and staff and other guests were friendly.

Cons: We weren’t sure how to put up the sofa bed so ended up with a makeshift bed of cushions in the lounge.
