Lovely cottage and host
Pros: Loved the communication from Donna the host and the little treat left for our dog. Very nice touch. The cottage is lovely and warm and cosy. We met the owner and he seemed lovely too.
Cons: The only blip was builders being on site with loud angle grinders working on the wall in the garden when we arrived and had the expectation they could stay during our booking. We booked this trip purely to relax and unwind having recently had building work done at our own home. We felt a little uncomfortable having to ask that they down tools and then closed the blinds as they were just outside the window while we settled in. Had we known this was even a possibility we would have booked somewhere else. Thankfully the owner agreed they could come back after our trip and we couldn't fault the cottage so this was a minor hiccup.

If i could live there permanently.. I would
Pros: What wasn't there to like it was so dreamy and felt a modern fairytale.
Cons: The one singular thing which wasn't a huge deal was the lockbox was a little difficult to open.

Stunning. Property in the Ribble Valley
Pros: Stunning property with everything you could want for a stay in the Ribble Valley. The bedrooms are well appointed and the bathrooms fantastic. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Modern features and facilities in the kitchen. Located close to Whalley and its restaurants and bars. The check-in process was seamless and the property information provided by the host was excellent.

A gem in the heart of the Ribble Valley
Pros: The property is absolutely wonderful. Very comfortable, very interestingly arranged, with lots of light. It's easy to find -- basically just behind the Eagle pub in Barrow but there were no noise problems at all and the property looks the other way onto woods and fields. It was very quiet. It's incredibly easy to get to places in the vicinity from here. We would definitely come back, as we like the area a lot.
Cons: Nothing to do with the property itself, but just a note that there are quite a few places that close on a Monday and Tuesday around here (including the Eagle, Whalley Wine Bar etc.), so do look up opening times and factor them into your plans.

Almost 5 stars
Pros: Lovely modern home, quiet location but 5 mins drive from Whalley village. Nice and clean. Host was responsive and helpful when minor issues were reported on arrival. Best beds we ever slept in away from home. Apart from the points stated, it's the best place we've stayed in to date and we will return.
Cons: Cleaning ran on past takeover, due to staffing issues, so we had to wait, but only for 15 mins. The lack of privacy due to no blinds at kitchen window and patio doors. We reported an issue with water from the shower seeping under the lino, which the hosts said they would attend to. We stayed in cool August temperatures and found it very warm at night even without heating, as it's not possible to ventilate the master bedroom much because, apart from in the en suite, there's a fully glazed door but no windows and we didn't want to leave an external door open overnight. The garden is not enclosed and neighbours and couriers etc seemed to fly past on the shared lane so dog lead needed at all times outside.

Suited our needs perfectly
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay although, as we were attending a family wedding, we were not in the property very much. However it was in excellent order; very clean and tidy with everything we needed. We would recommend the cottage and are even considering booking again to explore the beautiful Lancashire countryside

Fabulous and we will hope to return
Pros: The aspects of the cottage and the quality of the whole offering. located next to a very good pub for meals was a bonus
Cons: Very little - would have liked blinds to all Ground Floor windows as privacy after dark was lacking (given proximity to Pub Car Park)
