Pros: A lovely cosy cottage in a great location, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Friendly host who made contact prior to our visit and popped in to check all was ok. Highly recommend a stay here.

We were there during Storm Amy and once inside we would never have known ! Warm cosy comfortable - thank you

Pros: Brilliantly situated for walking dogs, literally straight out of the door and endless walks that you can make longer or shorter in fields or on the shore. Lovely enclosed garden, very peaceful just birds & cows ! Cosy with a Rayburn & wood burning stove all very easy to use ……….. helpful kind property owners and fresh eggs at the end of the lane !

Cons: Nothing stands out it met all our needs thank you

Pros: Julie was incredibly hospitable and manages a lovely property, no problem too big or small (not that there were many at all) and her welcome set you up for a great stay! would go again tomorrow!

Great base for your south lakes visits including Cartmel races, L Enclume, Lakeland maze farm, etc

Pros: The cottage is located behind a farm barn so you have the added bonus on observing a working farm from the upstairs windows. And the garden which contains two apple and a pear tree is overlooked by cows which come to say hello (or keep the noise down who knows what cows actually say) whilst roaming what became known as the telly tubby hill (within our group) just beyond the traditional water pump. So take a bbq and enjoy this little gem in the southern lakes.

Cons: We loved it all, the host is a great communicator from the instructions it was a little unclear if we needed to be there at four or we could just turn up any point after four. Which we did and had no issues the drop box idea for the key is genius. Check out for 9.30 could be a issue for some but again we where done and out for 9am (the Pheasant Inn just a short drive away does an exceptional breakfast)
