Nice, clean, comfortable B without the B

Pros: Quiet side of Blackpool, tea & coffee with a couple of biscuits each nice touch, being able to park on the street outside was a big plus, range of restaurants & takeaways near by, close to the sea front & around a mile walk along the front to Blackpool centre & shops.

Cons: The weather was atrocious! Shower was a bit lacking, there was no breakfast available at the B&B we was directed to Rosie's cafe around the corner!

Anniversary stay at golden sands.

Pros: Beds were comfy, ensuite bathroom, the host moved us to a bigger room as we had the dog with us and he said there would be more space for the dog.

Cons: Nothing, except the weather, but no one can control that.

Prepare for a hike but its worth it.

Pros: The room itself was lovely, we had everything we could have needed in one room. The bathroom was to die for, if it had a bath id never have left but it was huge. We had plenty of facilities, and the freeview on the TV didnt work so the owner provided us with a firestick which was logged onto his own Netflix account. Much appreciated. There was also a co-op round the corner if we needed anything. We were also far enough away from all the hustle and bustle so we could sleep peacefully. Owner was lovely and made us feel welcome.

Cons: The location was a little further from the arcades than I anticipated but thats entirely my own fault - plus I'm only moaning because the first walk to the hotel gave me a blister because I wore stupid shoes. They're now in the bin. Also, the stairs leading up to our room smelt a bit like smoke and/or pets but this can be forgiven when you walk into your own room and its fine. Dont let it put you off.

Pros: Price very reasonable. We took our little dog. Has own bathroom. Tv had a firebrick and we had brewing facilities and a fridge.

Cons: Nothing.
