Underhill Cottage

Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped. Great location.

Pros: What a place! Amazing location. Spotlessly clean. It is the best place we've stayed. The owner was absolutely lovely. We did not want to leave.

Cons: That we had to come home.

Marvellous experience. WE will return to Arnside.

Pros: We made our own breakfast. It was self catering. The kitchen whilst small is very well equipped. We made most of our own meals there but did use the fantastic Chip Shop once. The Conservatory was warm and very pleasant even when raining. The views from upstairs and in the garden were fantastic.

Cons: I don't like smart TVs it makes it difficult to channel hop and preview upcoming programmes. I found that we had to put many of the cushions to oneside as there were far too many both in the lounge and in the bedrooms.

Pros: We liked everything about this Underhill Cottage. Lots of room, well equipped, clean and great outside space to sit out in the sunshine. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Pros: Stayed here before , cosy, warm cottage and shop conveniently next door. Back garden now has a gate on to fully enclose so safe for dog.

Cons: Stairs are steep and near to a bedroom door so have to be careful. However didn’t bother us but could if you had mobility issues

Pros: The cottage , garden and location were spot on . Great for parking, and train link. Great pubs , shops and cafes. Still found things to do even though the weather was awful. Lots of great walks. Good luck to the new owners.

Cons: Unfortunately on our arrival the cottage hadn't been cleaned, however this was sorted ASAP. And on our departure all the smoke alarms set off. Certainly made us get out on time. We did check nothing was on fire.

Pros: Location and facilities were great. The kitchen was equipped well and we were able to cook some nights and go out others. It was spotlessly clean. Unique layout.

Cons: You could tell that dogs had stayed but that's to be expected as dogs are welcome. Could smell dog - there were neutralisers but they didn't get rid completely. Tricky steep stairs but ok for older children. Would go back again.

A hidden gem in a beautiful location.

Pros: A cosy, clean cottage in an excellent location very close local shops, pubs and coastal walks yet very quiet considering this. The off road parking next to the cottage was handy and the views are stunning.
