Pros: I liked the fact everything was thought about and it was clean and tidy. I loved the breakfast - simple toast and cereal breakfast but no corners cut and lots of cereal bars, fruit etc available, not just for breakfast but all day! Sheets and duvet covers were nice and soft.

Cons: Be careful on the steep stairs.

Compact B and B convenient for walks around Lancaster.

Pros: Very welcoming and comfortable. Good shower. Our room was a bit small but we were out all day so no matter. Bed was good and it was very warm in very cold weather. Good location for the canal and river walks.

Cons: Small room, no lift if that is an issue. Breakfast is tea/ coffee with simple baked goods for toast and some yoghurt. Free fruit was available.

Warm, welcoming b&b for short stay

Pros: Good communication prior to the stay. Easy, free parking at the rear of the building. Clean, well equipped comfortable room with tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries etc. Lovely welcoming entrance with goodies, and information with regards to where to eat locally etc. Really good quality breakfast with cereal, yoghurt, toast, crumpets etc. Good coffee! Very friendly and warm host. They definitely do not scrimp on their offering. About a 25 minute straight walk into Lancaster town (or a short cab ride). Would recommend, and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay on the edge of town - would book again if I need to visit Lancaster again (which is a fine city!)

Pros: Lovely, comfortable and friendly (an old-fashioned B&B in a good way!). Great owner and excellent value for money - nice walk into town along the river too.

Pros: Once again the Townhiuse suited me well as an older, solo traveller. Hosts very welcoming and informative about your stay, and what Lancaster offers. Great to have free parking. Self service breakfast, variety of cereals, toast, crumpets & jams/marmelades suits me fine. Very comfy firm bed. No unnecessary frills; all essentials provided. Charges are excellent value. I'll be back.

Cons: Would have much preferred a non-sweetened muesli - not a deal breaker.

Pros: Really nice townhouse bed and breakfast, clean, safe, able to park at the back, lovely owner.

Cons: The walk into town wasn’t a nice one up a busy main road, however it is only £5 in an uber . Don’t try to park at the front during rush hour it’s a busy road.
