The perfect lodge for a new year gateaway

Pros: The position of the lodge- right in front of the lake, the lodge is nicely decorated. It’s spacious and bright. Some of these reviews complaining about lack of curtains in the front room make no sense there are no people in front. Comfortable beds, clean, beautiful area. The host is superb and allowed us to check out late. There is a pool on site which was lovely. Would definitely go again

Cons: Tv was a bit slow, the water pressure was not very strong but considering its a lodge not much to complain. We went in December it was quite cold outside so the lodge was cold when we arrived but there were plenty of heaters and once we warm up it was perfect.

Beautiful place to relax

Pros: Beautiful place to stay for one week, this is my 2nd time I've stayed here now and would stay again

Pros: The location was fantastic The food was lovely and all the staff ie reception ,bar,restaurant were fantastic friendly and extremely helpful couldn’t fault anyone all were a credit to there proffesion and the resort

LOVELY LODGE IN A QUIET AND AMAZING LAKESIDE LOCATION

Pros: The location of the lodge. It still has some nice area outside it for walking or even games when you’re in a group and it’s really by the lake. The inside of the lodge is quite nice as well, the kitchen is lovely and full of different utensils and other cookwares, it has a large fridge/ freezer. It’s quite tidy as well. Although, when we arrive one of the sofa has got some dust/sandy bits on it and the freezer is a bit dirty. The shower is lovely.☺️

Cons: Everything is good really, although we find it weird that we have to empty the bins and remove the sheets and linen of the beddings before leaving.😅

Lodge 73 at pine lake

Pros: The lodge was lovely and well kitted out. The location was beautiful.

Charming lodge, comfortable and relaxing view, well located for adventures in the lakes.

Pros: The lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped for family living. It is well suited as a basecamp for family adventures in the lake district, Windemere is about 30 to 40 mins by car. The lake right by the lodge was fantastic, it was nice to greet the ducks each morning. The resort comes with some amenities - the watersports were great, and there is also a pool and small gym for fitness needs. The lodge definitely had that wow factor for us when we first arrived.

Cons: The restaraunts on site are a bit basic, I would advise eating out in one of the nearby towns or villages or grabbing some shopping from Carnforth and cooking at the lodge.
