Pros: Van was clean, warm and had ample facilities. Slept well too.

Cons: NA

Pros: Great for a family trip, lovely property and good communication from owners. Couldn't fault it!

Pros: We had a great time there. Nice area, far from the hustle and bustle, with activities at the nearby leisure centre.

Pros: Very quiet place to go with young kids, my twins loved the fishing lakes and more over it's safe for them to do fishing , the small beach was excellent all u need is there and not packed with so many people

Pros: We like the location and we used it as our base for visiting the lakes. Property well equipped. It was great to have an airfryer!!! Great contact with the owner. Thanks for having us.

Cons: One of the beds looked and smelled like it wasn’t changed for us. There were stains on the duvet cover etc. It was an extra bed for us so didn’t bother me too much.

Quiet location but well placed for day trips

Pros: The location was within a few short miles of the nearest town with supermarkets for everything needed for a self-catering holiday. Easily within range of the Lakes and the seaside destinations of Morecambe and Blackpool. We also found a local beach at Silverdale. If you needed to stay at home, the deck area was great for relaxing on the furniture provided.

Cons: Disposing of the rubbish was tricky. We could not find any communal bins and so had to drive daily to the local waste disposal facility with bags of rubbish. Described as a lake view but this was about 50 metres away and a 3 metre gap between two other homes. Neighbours not very friendly regarding crossing their property to view the lake..!!

Pros: Really enjoyed my stay here, and the dog also loved it! Great place to relax in a nice peaceful environment!

Pros: The lodge is in the perfect place for a quiet break away. Lovely lakes and 2 other camps near by one with a restaurant/bar open to the public with a small beer garden. A little drive into the close by nearest towns. Outside seating was a bonus due to lovely weather durning our stay. WiFi in the caravan too. Overall we enjoyed our stay and was worth the money even though we had a few issues/dislikes.

Cons: On arrival to the lodge it smelt like dogs and looked unclean. We knew the lodge was dog friendly before booking but having previously staying in dog friendly accommodation we didnt think it would be a issue. The sofa and the cushions have seen better days and smelt bad. Mold on the curtains and on the lamp in the children's bedrooms and the blinds didn't work properly. Mattress very uncomfortable had to use the spare bedding to lay on top of to make it more comfortable. The boiler didn't work. No heating or hot water until my partner who's a builder knew how to fix the issue lucky.

Can’t wait to return

Pros: The location is perfect. Great for the whole family including our Springer. The decked area is a fabulous sun trap. Michael is an amazing host.
