Perfect Weekend Getaway ❤️

Pros: We stayed for a weekend break beginning 7th November 2025 and it was amazing! Every room is spotless, cosy, tastefully decorated, and very homely. The location is perfect and peaceful, and perfect for exploring locally or further afield like the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales. A massive thank you to our host Margaret too. Her professionalism leaving no stone unturned with her attention to detail is astounding. Overall, a perfect weekend in every way possible and I'm sure we'll plan to return in the near future.

Pros: Lovely comfortable accommodation which was very clean and warm. Good communication from the host. Nice and quiet. Great location to explore. Lots of places to eat within short drive

Lovely, cosy lodge.

Pros: We enjoyed our 2 night stay here - wish it could've been longer :( The lodge was beautifully decorated, clean, tidy with everything you could possibly need. The owner's attention to detail could really be noted. The location was perfect. Our dog loved sitting on the enclosed balcony watching the ducks in the pond directly across. Nice big, comfortable bed. The location was perfect for exploring nearby areas- Morcambe, Silverdale and Arnside are good to visit ( with a dog). We would definitely love to stay here again.

Beautiful home from home. I really enjoyed my time here.

Pros: Everything. This accommodation is beautiful. It's very well maintained and presented and very clean. It has all you need. The decor gives a really lovely calm feel, especially when just chilling and looking out at the ducks on the pond just outside. I would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Pros: Beautiful well equipped lodge in a quiet setting. Good outdoor space and amenities close by. Excellent communication from the owner with clear instructions for check in.

Perfect, home from home in a relaxed and quiet area, but close to the main town and walkable restaurant, leisure centre

Pros: The property was excellent, it is better than the photos. Such a home from home. Easy to find, far away enough from the main towns to feel away from everything but close enough to walk to the local restaurant, lakes and leisure centre. For us it was an ideal hub for the local diving centre (best in the UK our dive centre told us) and it was amazing.

Cons: There was nothing not to like. The front door squeaked a bit when opened or closed, but that is it.

Pros: Beautiful Lodge very clean and well looked after in a nice destination.

Cons: No activities for the children without going off site other than swimming but and adult is required in the pool. In the description it said archery was available but when enquired at reception they knew nothing about it. Had issues with the boiler in the property so no heating or hot water, the owner assisted with this.

Pros: How quiet it was in such a lovely peaceful setting Great food at the Watersedge restaurant. Comfy lodge with everything you could imagine. Very comfy bed
