The Grand Hotel Stay

Pros: The staff were extremely pleasant and happy, welcoming and helpful.

Cons: The one complaint we had was the noise from outside. I think we had been put in a room.over machinery like air conditioning units or heating machinery..I can only sleep with a window open and so it did disturb my sleep..

Wonderful stay in the main building, excellent staff and food. Highly recommend.

Pros: The main building is stunning, fresh and modern but utilising the original architecture add the the “grand” feeling of the hotel. Everything is in the hotel which makes is a lovely experience for an easy night away. Worth the value, I’m always happy to pay more to get the value. This place delivers and we will return. The staff where exceptional.

Cons: We originally booked the Annex but where moved into the main hotel due to building work. In hindsight, I would not want to be in the annex personally if you really want to use the hotel. The annex does not deliver the same grand feeling, but it does offer some more affordable options. Got me personally now knowing the difference it worth the extra money to stay in the main building and I wound by hesitate to pay the extra for the main building in the future.

Pros: Very clean, very friendly staff, very stylish, excellent facilities.

Beautiful hotel

Pros: The place is beautiful, the spa facilities are clean and the staff really care for the clients very well. The room was clean and spacious and a quality breakfast.

Cons: Nothing. My only small suggestion would be for the hotel to check if guests are tall. Our room had low beams, and although there are signs in the room, in the night it's easy to forget and bang your head. But a beautiful room and place.

Pros: The facilities were excellent as were the staff and the breakfast was great. The room was quite spacious and clean

Cons: The room we were allocated was in the annexe and unfortunately it was extremely cold. The heating system was set at 21 degrees so I turned it up to 24 as it was one of the coldest nights of the year so far. The towel heater in the bathroom also didn't seem to be working I tried everything to get it on but to no avail. We reported the issues on departure and our room charges of £12.45 were waived. However I would still recommend this hotel as it is a lovely hotel

Pros: On trend and spacious. Extremely comfortable, modern and very quiet (despite being on the main road) The balcony was very roomy with excellent views

Pros: The lady on the reception was extremely pleasant and helpful on many occasions throughout our stay

Cons: The pillows - flat - very little support The radiators / heaters in the room make a lot of odd noises

Pros: Ive stayed at the grand twice now, it does provide clean comfy rooms with lovely staff. I have used the pool and sauna which are always kept clean.

Cons: Unfortunately you get charged a service charge at the bar when ordering drinks.. which I wasn't aware off until we left. I think charging service fees for drinks especially when I go to get the drinks myself is a little unnecessary. The rooms I feel do need updating, the bathrooms both times needed grout and silicone work aswell as the carpet.

Pros: The whole experience of staying at The Grande was very positive ....the trip with both my daughter & daughter in law was part of my daughter's 40th Birthday Celebrations which she thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were very helpful & friendly from the moment we arrived to our departure today. We had no concerns regarding our stay and will definitely be visiting The Grande again. I would like to make enquiries if I could book a meal for approx 14-16 people in the restaurant on Friday 14th August late afternoon in celebration of my husband's 70th Birthday. I noticed whilst being at The Grande, their is a section(side room) on your right as you are walking towards the restaurant that a large group of people were having a 'celebration', the room really nice & private. Excellent accommodation in great location right on the seafront. Lovely staff and food

Pros: We stayed in the annex-Grand Twenty Two. Rooms were huge, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with enormous beds
