Great stay, handy location, fabulous staff

Pros: The staff were lovely, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast as actually really good with lots of choice.

Cons: We had two single beds even though we are married and requested a double

Nice hotel it served its purpose

Pros: Clean and tidy hotel, the gym was clean and equipment was really good . We moved from the ground floor to the 4th due to noise the lady on reception was really helpful and very friendly

Cons: Shower pressure on floor 4 wasn't the best and tv channels did not work

Great stay over

Pros: Lovely clean rooms and full use of the swimming pool,jacuzzi & saunas which was a bonus.

Cons: Shower was a bit cooler in the morning but was fine on the evenings.

Lovely stay would return in the future

Pros: The staff are all hardworking, friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff ensured the breakfast items were replenished as soon as they were running low. The hotel was comfortable and clean would return and recommend to family.

Cons: If visiting you need a car to get around nothing within walking distance

Pleasantly surprised

Pros: The staff were fantastic, in particular Phil who worked in the fitness suite. He went above and beyond to help accommodate the extra needs we had. Pool, jacuzzi and steam/sauna were great. Comfy beds, plenty of space for cases etc. We didn't have breakfast but my son did have a room service pizza for supper and it was much better than I expected.

Cons: My only slight complaint was the cleanliness of the room. It wasn't horrendous but there was an obvious cup ring mark from a previous guest on the bedside table, drip marks on the sink unit in the bathroom, the main table was dusty as were the skirting boards. I'm being super picky just for honesty. I'd definitely book again and theres not many places I'd say that about.

Great stay but let down by temporary menu and poor food.

Pros: The staff all Amazing especially Louise on reception and Trish is the restaurant . Breakfast amazing

Very Nice for a short stopover

Pros: Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Good free parking.

Cons: Rooms are a little tired but perfectly practical. Access to the hotel via the 'Haydock Island' (roundabout near junction 23 exit of M6) is badly signposted and difficult to navigate, especially at night/in the rain
