Great place, friendly staff, Prime location - Highly recommended!

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, very clean, and with a friendly staff. Even though they don't have a fridge in the rooms, they agreed to store my milk and yogurts in the staff's fridge. The room was exactly what I needed: a bed and toilet/shower. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay at Blackpool, especially if you're traveling alone.

Cons: I would improve 2 things: Put a small fridge in the rooms (or make a guest fridge available in the lobby), and fix the temperature of the hot water in the showers - there is a warning sign in the shower about \

Pros: The owner was amazing told us everything about the area and about the hotel. We had breakfast best thing that we had in our stay.

Cons: No full length mirrors in the room.

Pros: Everything was perfect! We decided last minute we were going to Blackpool and staying over. We found The King Cross Hotel for a brilliant price for 2 adults and 3 children last minute. Honestly there is nothing we can complain about and will definitely be back for more than one night next time so we can enjoy the hotel properly, they have their own bar, arcade games and even have their own burger business onsite that you can order from! We cant wait to come back!

Amazing hotel

Pros: Great hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to all amenties which my 6 year old managed fine each day without complaining once. The owner Connor was lovely and went the extra mile to makesure my sons who have dietary requirements were catered for and met their needs accordingly by checking the ingredients and writing down what they could have. He even lit my sons cake and cut it up for us to eat in his dining area as it was his birthday. Great family hotel with the added bonus of a games room for the kids and netflix in the rooms. We highly recommend this hotel and will definately be returning in the future.

Cons: No chair or hot drinks facilities in the room.

Pros: The location was great, it seemed like a fairly quiet street but a short distance to get to the attractions we had booked. The staff member on site was brilliant - he was really friendly and helpful. The WiFi was free to use and worked well throughout the building. The food was really good, we had an evening meal and a breakfast during our stay and really enjoyed both.

Cons: Despite the heating being on full, the room was a little chilly and the bed wasn’t the comfiest - also very squeaky! There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room (although we were advised of this before arrival). Facilities are available downstairs at an extra cost. Parking was charged at £12 per day which seems a little steep - I paid £8 per day at another hotel in Blackpool a few months ago. There is room for 4 cars (if you don’t mind potentially being blocked in) so if taking a car I would recommend booking parking in advance as there are 19 rooms in the hotel. The room did look a little tired but it’s worth noting that the hotel is under refurbishment. I was charged a £3 non refundable deposit which I wasn’t aware of (I thought parking was £13 a day however on reading more information I realise now it was a deposit). I wasn’t given the option of paying the £30 refundable deposit which I have just read in the terms and conditions. Not a big deal it’s only £3 but just worth being aware of. It wasn’t in any of the communication I had with the hotel prior to my stay or on arrival.

Perfect

Pros: The bar area was amazing, room was just what you needed and the food was delish. To top it off the staff were amazing. Will be booking again soon.

Cons: Nothing is was great. I just had the room that hadn’t yet been refurbished.

Pros: Connor was a fab host, made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hotel is clean and smelt fresh, the facilities were great and we would stay again but possibly in a bigger room, have already recommended to my mum who is thinking of booking in soon too! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Cons: The bed was not the best, quite small and the spring mattress was not comfy, we would stay again but hopefully in a different room 😊

Pros: What a find !! Fab hotel in just the perfect location for all !! Lovely clean rooms with a modern touch & with such a friendly owner ... who made you feel welcome from the start !! Will definitely stay again !! 💕💕💕
