We stayed for 2 nights and it was a lovely experience

Pros: We loved our stay at the hotel. The building is a great mix of genuine traditional features and modern facilities. The gardens and grounds are well maintained and beautiful

Comfortable and relaxing

Pros: The accommodation was first class - really comfortable and clean. The staff were excellent - very friendly with excellent customer service

Cons: We did find the partition wall between our bedroom and our neighbours’ quite thin - we could hear a phone buzzing several times, throughout the night, on the other side of the wall where our bed headboard was against.

Truly stunning hotel

Pros: The hotel offers a warm welcome from the moment you enter,including the sophisticated decor to the warmth of the reception staff. Food and service was exceptional and it felt like a luxurious stay.

Great room, poor breakfast.

Pros: Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Cons: The breakfast was very disappointing. There was no way it had been freshly cooked . The bacon was warm and stiff and the scrambled eggs were warm and solidified. The toast was barely toasted and we had to ask 3 times for some butter.

Pros: We stayed here for Valentines and from the moment we arrived, our stay was so special. The outside and the grounds are stunning! The room was spotless and included everything you could ever need. We had the Valentines 3 course menu in Oscars and at 45.00 per head, the food was beyond delicious and great value (even being handed a glass of bubbly on our way into the reataurant) The staff were friendly and very attentive. Overall, this lovely hotel, exceeded all our expectations and we will definitely visit again.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, everything was perfect.
