Great Stay

Pros: Great location, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff

Cons: Sometimes lacks attention to detail, however would never stop us returning

Pros: Staff were very attentive even though they were obviously short staffed for such a busy night. The young blonde girl who was served us definitely needs praising.

Good for a couple nights

Pros: Location could do with better signage, room was warm and cosy plenty of space bed was spacious though abit firm for my liking

Cons: Stood at reception with no clear way to get attention, was told nothing about check out procedure / key drop

Pros: Me and my partner stayed here and we enjoyed the room that we were in. We were mainly just there to sleep as we were out during the day for the majority of the time. Nice room, good price for what was needed and expected. It was in a good location also as we were exploring new areas of the lake district. It had plenty of food choices around and was within a 10-15 minute drive. They do have a restaurant within the hotel but we didn't use it this time.

Cons: I don't think there could be anything better. I was satisfied with the hotel room for a couple nights stay.

Pros: This is my go-to hotel in Barrow. I've stayed here about 8 times and its always clean, comfortable, staff are lovely and the breakfast is great

We will be stopping again when next in the area visiting family.

Pros: Our breakfast was delivered to our table by the helpful staff member.

Cons: The weather could have been better, but the hotel was always very welcoming.

Feels like a home from home.

Pros: Fabulous stay again. Our go to, now wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Cons: Was nothing we didn't like.

Staff were plentiful and attentive. Food was good and fair priced. Would return again to see what second visit brings.

Pros: Nice ambiance and decor, the hotel has been well kept and all areas have been upgraded to maintain a fresh appearance.

Cons: Bed was comfortable. Parking onsite is a bonus, and bar area is spacious. Over a week stay, I enjoyed my experience. However, a negative point I felt was with the housekeeping. After requesting a room tidy twice throughout the week, this consisted of fresh towels being left, yet the bed was not remade, sink being left unclean and no re-supply of toiletries or condiments for room, which was a bit of a let down in my opinion. Breakfast was well presented, yet the plates were stone cold and area used was similar and could be better moved into restaurant area in poor weather conditions.

Lovely weekend stay

Pros: 1.Easy check in 2. Breakfast and Tea available at hotel 3. Staff where lovely and helpful 4. Clean rooms and hotel 5. Bar downstairs 6. Dog friendly 7. Big grass area outside hotel for dog

Cons: 1. Didn’t put any toilet paper in the bathroom as we ran out had to buy our own after they had cleaned and filled up the rest of the room.

Pros: Everything was clean and tidy, restaurant was brilliant.
