Meols Holiday Lodge

A perfect gem of a lodge for two, on the lovely Wirral.

Pros: Everything you could possibly need, spotlessly clean, and so many tastes thought of on the complimentary breakfast tray. Great location and outside space, private the decking area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the evening. Thank you Pam so much.

Cons: There is nothing at all not to like, we had a wonderful stay ✨️ and would love to return.

Pros: Wonderfully quiet location, and once we were in direct contact with the hosts, comms were excellent.

Cons: Repeated, hard to follow, and pointless long auto emails from Sykes Cottages.

My stay was just what I needed for my holiday.

Pros: The Lodge was very well equipped and the location quiet and peaceful. The host was friendly and did a lot to make my stay enjoyable. The promenade was a short walk away and there were lovely views out to sea.

Cons: There was nothing that I did not liked and no improvements needed.

Pros: Spacious and very comfortable, some small touches like coffee, biscuits, jam and eggs for the mornings was a really nice touch, during my stay I was studying on a course and the WiFi was great for research and the location is nice and peaceful, I will be recommending the lodge to people in future

Cosy, warm welcome, mix of rural and in area of natural beauty

Pros: Semi rural vibe, while being a walk to trains to Liverpool or other Wirral towns. Cosy property perfect for cooking and film nights…plus Pam was a fab host.

Cons: Only minor point would be the shower, which was a bit temperamental- occasional patience required.

Delightful, quiet location well equipped, very comfortable beds. We will return.

Pros: Peace and quiet, all on one level, little private garden, the wild life, good location for our needs.

Cons: The parking was a little awkward but nota major problem at all.

Pros: Location was perfect, the peace and quiet, the hosts were great and provided everything we needed. The property was spotless

Restful break with plenty to do, and see in the locality

Pros: Secluded and private, with no immediate neighbours. Spotlessly clean, and fully equipped.Nearby paddock with a few ponies. The sea is a short drive away, with a coastal pathway perfect for cycling and walking.

Pros: The lodge is of a very high standard in an idilic, peaceful setting. Our hosts made us so welcome and ensured we had everything we needed from facilities to local advice. All in all, a beautiful perfect location for a couple.
