Spot on

Pros: Well located close to the centre, beautifully decorated, the garden would be nice in the summer. Private parking. Real ale is only 50 yards away in the Old Friends.

Cons: Despite having a kitchen there is nowhere to sit and eat, which is a shame given the amazing looking produce in the many local independent outlets.

Amazing

Pros: The whole place was comfortable nice to settle into, everything you could need in the kitchen. Close to the town centre as well not a long walk at all would definitely come here again. Has its own private parking behind the property which you do have to have a walk to but I did not mind at all.

very pleasant, just what we wanted

Pros: very comfortable cottage that we used over the Dickensian Christmas Fayre. It was only a short walk to the fayre and everything else we wanted. We know Ulverston well.

Cons: A bit of a walk from car parking facility to the front door of the cottage. There was little fuel for the log burner which we would've liked to use.

Fab little spot will visit again. :)

Pros: It was well positioned to wander around Ulverston itself and the garden is charming, bed comfortable.

Cons: Nowhere to eat ie. No table and chairs so unable to work either and you cannot eat out three times a day! But it’s honestly the only thing missing there. The other tiny thing was short on crockery and glasses but that is a really easy fix so not important

Wonderful!

Pros: We were enchanted by this fabulous quirky cottage. Absolutely loved staying here. The attention to detail and colour palette used throughout makes it a special place to stay. Very relaxing! The cottage is spotlessly clean, cosy, bright and airy. All too often holiday accommodation is sterile and soulless. This place has oodles of character. The bed is comfortable with good quality bedding. The shower is excellent. Absolutely no negatives - all positives!

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous little house, the bed was exceptionally comfortable (so was the couch - I loved it).

Lovely, comfortable stay, the cottage has everything we needed and would recommend it.

Pros: Close to the town centre, the log burner was a definite plus. Quiet, comfortable stay.

Cons: Very windy this first evening which caused the door knocker to bang a lot. No-ones fault and couldn’t be helped, just made us jump a few times :)
