Eagles Cottage

Lovely accommodation for our family weekend away.

Pros: Immaculate on arrival. Beautifully furnished with everything we needed. One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in. The little extras were appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing !

Pros: Excellent accommodation. Nicely furnished and very well equipped. Good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate on arrival. There is private parking for one car.

Cons: Doesn’t relay have much of a garden, though as our stay was in the month of October that wasn’t a big issue. The lighting in the living room was very bright and could not be dimmed. The floors are very creaky. We could not find any info. on the recycling rules or bin collection days. There is a commercial property right next to the house. Their vehicles were parked outside the house and provided us with a 7.30am alarm call each weekday, when being manoeuvred.

Pros: Lots of treats/ coffee pots and footwear available

Cons: No recycling bag. TV/ remote was temperamental. Had to switch the TV off at the mains to reset it all the time

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Rooms all a great size. Facilities in the house great. Very good kitchen utensils, should you need to cook. Bedrooms comfortable, showers good. Very modern and attractive.

Cons: Strange location next to a garage!! Not quintessential Lake District if that's what you are looking for. However, the house was excellent, perfect for our family few days with amenities, foodstores and plenty of places to visit nearby. 00

Wonderful weekend stay in a fabulous house, with lovely friends

Pros: The location was so close to the main high street. And the house itself was beautiful. Modern, very well appointed. Touches to make you welcome by the hostess really made it a wonderful stay, will definitely be back .

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Eagles cottage Ulverston

Pros: Lovely spacious house and clean. Convenient parking. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Great location for exploring Ulverston town and lakes.

Cons: N/a

Pros: Excellent welcome pack with coffee, tea etc. and organic apple juice - a really nice touch that made our stay even more comfortable.

A beautiful home from home!

Pros: We had a fantastic stay here, the decor and furnishing of the house has been done to a high standard. The beds were comfy, the two king sized rooms were extremely spacious, the two teenagers in our family were very impressed!! Location was fantastic, 10 minute walk into the very centre of Ulverston. 15 minutes drive from Lake Windermere! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all. The welcome basket with biscuits, milk etc in was a lovely gesture too. Parking was very easy outside the property. A wonderful place to stay!

A marvelous, beautiful and cosy home in Ulverston.

Pros: Thank you ever so much for a marvelous and beautiful time at the most cosy Eagle Cottage! Everything was clean, well equipped and at a very high standard. We did enjoy the coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh milk and biscuit supply.

Pros: Immaculate presentation Nice, modern decor Easy access/entry Nearby parking Well equipped kitchen Very comfortable beds Very clean Great location - we stayed for a wedding nearby but spent the night before in town - walking distance to a range of different pubs, restaurants and bars! 😆 I was with my husband and some friends but considering booking again for a stay with my friends later in the year!

Cons: Genuinely nothing - great stay!
