Lovely spacious holiday home in the centre of Ulverston
Pros: Check in was seemless and I was shown to the Cider House property by the reception staff. The property is lovely and very large (across 3 floors), and is in good upkeep and decorated nicely. The kitchen had lots of facilities (fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, pots/pans and crockery). The bedrooms were good sizes and beds were confortable. The location is perfect in the centre of Ulverston, and our group found it easy to travel there using both car and train.
Cons: A few cobwebs in the corners of some rooms had been missed during cleaning. I visitied in summer but the duvets provided were thick winter duvets. There was no iron provided (despite an ironing board being included). There were no dishwasher tablets (despite a dishwisher being included). The coffee was instant-style sachets. For a property in this price band, a Nespresso style machine would have been better.

We found it well situated to tour Cumbria. Comfortable and adequate.
Pros: The location was great. Paid parking right at the door. Comfy beds. It was perfectly comfortable. Double glazing blocked most of the noise from the pub next door.
Cons: Dirty towels left behind the door. Loud pub next door.

Fab stay
Pros: Breakfast excellent, keys picked up from the pub and then we were escorted to the cottage. The cottage was on two floors, spacious, decorated to a high standard and comfortable. Great location by the market square and very near to restaurants, bars and shops.
Cons: Nowt
