Pros: Lovely house as a base to explore the surrounding area, we mostly went to Windermere or surrounding walks, 30 min drive. Nicely laid out and comfortable, no issues at all, would be happy to return anytime.

A comfy and quiet stay in a great location.

Pros: Great central location, yet quiet, comfy beds, good shower, very clean and tidy house with a good level of amenities.

Cons: The steep stairs to the mezzanine bedroom took a bit of getting used to, and also the low beam over the beds.

Ulverston is a fantastic place and Moss Tarn is the perfect place to stay.

Pros: Location was perfect, a superb base for a stay in Ulverston. Moss Tarn itself is a lovely building and great place to stay. The living room was very large and had very good entertainment facilities (music/TV etc) and the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with food and drink. Furnishings were of very high quality in all rooms. Superb shower room. We went for a historic cycling event, Moss Tarn is very close to town centre and has great storage facility for bikes.

Cons: Be very careful in the mezzanine bedroom - there are very low beams and I banged my head almost as soon as I got in there.

Pros: The property was clean and warm. Everything you needed such as condiments etc were there to be used. The sound system was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Great location for walking to local shops/pubs

Cons: The parking not being on site was a bit annoying. But local parking was £20 for 3 days so wasn't too badly priced.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WORKED AROUND MY DISABILITY

Pros: LOCATION VERY GOOD. QUIET BUT WITH EASY ACCESS TO TOWN AND EATERIES EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR OUR STAY WITH LOTS OF EXTRAS. LIGHT AND AIRY ACCOMODATION. VERY CLEAN EXCELLENT ACCOMODATION FOR YOUNGER PERSONS AND FAMILIES EASY ACCESS TO DROP OFF CASES AT HOUSE AND TO PARK IN LOCAL CAR PARK ( APPROX 75 METRES) AWAY FOR 3 DAYS AT REDUCED RATE, LOTS OF GOOD LOCAL PRODUCE AND SUPERMARKETS

Cons: WHEN BOOKING I DID NOT REALISE THE STAIRS TO UPPER MEZZANINE WERE STEEP GALLEY STAIRS. I FOUND THESE VERY DIFFICULT TO NEGOTIATE AS HAVE ARTHRITIS IN MY KNEES. I MANAGED THE FIRST SET OF STAIRS FROM GROUND TO MIDDLE FLOOR. THIS WAS ENTIRELY MY FAULT BUT FEEL THE ACCOMODATION WOULD SUIT YOUNGER PERSONS ESPECIALLY AS THE BATHROOM IS ON THE GROUND FLOOR WITH MAIN BEDROOM ON 2ND FLOOR

A well equipped apartment in a pleasant market town.

Pros: The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. Ulverston is a nice market town with a tradition shopping experience and lots of eating options.

Cons: The absence of private parking on site is always inconvenient but weekly public parking is available nearby for £36. One of the stairways is very steep for anyone with mobility problems.

Great central location and a well appointed property.

Pros: Great location and beautifully finished property. Completely hassle free check in/out. Loads of essential supplies readily available and surprisingly spacious interior. Super comfy beds and sofas. Parking wasn’t a problem for us. there are plenty of car parks a short distance from property, always spaces available and reasonably priced. Loads of great eateries close by too.

Cons: The stairs to mezzanine level were very narrow and steep and of a cabin design (half step) which wasn’t reflected in photos or property description. Being an older lady with back problems I did find them a bit of a challenge and actually fell and broke my toe. I think perhaps a short narrative in description or a photo of the stairs to highlight this would be beneficial for others.
