Melrose

Always stay here when in the area.

Pros: We always stay at Melrose if we are in the area for work as it’s everything we need and is always clean, comfortable and the parking is a bonus. Lovely area. Hosts brilliant. Highly recommended.

Cons: All good.

Pros: The house was walkable to Clitheroe town centre, very spacious and spotless ! The owner had left a basket of goodies that were very well received. We had a lovely stay.

Pros: Warm, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, easy access to town centre and a welcome basket!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Big rooms, plenty of space, clean and tidy, good kitchen.

Relaxing week in a lovely, well ‘equipped’ property in a great location.

Pros: Great location, really lovely, spacious property. Very ‘family-friendly’ kitchen & sizeable separate dining room, which was great for family get-togethers. Really comfortable sleeping arrangements. Clean throughout - crisp, fresh bedding & towels. All-round comfort! Lovely touch was the Welcome Basket with home-made cookies, wine, coffee etc.

Cons: Nothing to dislike - maybe decor a little dated, but all quality throughout. Beautiful property.

Pros: Lovely place like home from home everything you needed for a great stay, even had a birthday cake waiting for us thank you Helen for making it special..

Weekend in Clitheroe

Pros: Perfect location, clean, lovely welcome hamper on arrival and great communication from owner. Fab stay. Basket of toys under the stairs was an added bonus for my daughter!

Perfect stay visiting friends.

Pros: The key is given to you the day before. I liked the fact it was a key box with a code, as we were travelling by train (with their normal delays), we were not entirely sure when we would arrive. The property is a good size. The beds were really comfy and everyone slept well. It has a well stocked kitchen and came with washing liquid, teas, coffee etc and milk in the fridge. There is a large living room which we didn't actually end up using but we did enjoy breakfast in the dinning room. Many thanks to the hosts.

Cons: We didn't drive, but there is a driveway but note it is on the corner on a junction/road. The road is pretty quiet but you may need someone to help you out.

Pros: Fab house loads of space and everything you needed just like home from home, lovely touch with a welcome basket and coal fire nice clean property throughout we all felt right at home straight away Great position for shopping and into the town centre Great bus services

Pros: Lots of space, very homely, nice and warm, lovely welcome basket, very good quality bedding and towels, a few minutes walk into town.

Cons: Maybe a coffee table in lounge would be an asset , other than that perfect.
