Quirky cottage set in Clitheroe

We stayed for a wedding at Holmes mill, perfect location and gorgeous home

Pros: It was perfectly clean and spacious, exactly what we were looking for

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like

Pros: Booking made last minute, arrived late at night. Cottage immaculate, milk & eggs in the fridge. Tea & coffee in abundance. Great service & communication.

Really gorgeous interior and great location

Pros: beautiful property, nicely presented, was so pleased we were met with a Christmas tree and a laid table for dining.

Cons: As other reviews have mentioned, needs hooks in the porch as there was no where to hang coats without cluttering the bannister. Duvet was a bit mean and thin, however property was warm so ok. Sofa was a bit shallow and upright for lounging. (sorry, just in an ideal world)

Beautiful cottage in the perfect location

Pros: Gorgeous little cottage, beautifully decorated and in a fabulous location. Loved our night out in Clitheroe and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The two bathrooms make it ideal for two couples.

Pros: Stayed at the Quirky cottage set in Clitheroe with 3 other mates for our friends wedding evening. What an beautiful cottage, pictures don't do the property justice - definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in/around Clitheroe. Great location - around 5/10 minutes walking distance to Holmes Mill, where we all went for a Sunday roast. 2 minutes walk to the nearest car park which also isn't overly priced (Lowergate Car Park).

Cons: Although we found someone's left over food in the microwave (from either cleaners or previous occupancy) they were quick to call round to remove and give it a quick clean up. Definitely didn't ruin the lovely stay that we had at the property.

Pros: Easy enough to find. Nice pub next door. Comfy bed and good shower

Cons: Coffee provided didnt taste great. But that's a personal choice I suppose.
