Perfect, comfortable and home from home

Pros: Cannot fault this place.. thank you Adam for a wonderful stay. He offered to meet us on arrival and departure should we wish to have the keys physically handed over but there was no need as the information on the keybox was clear and easy to access. This place is about 1 min walk from the Marine pub at the end of the road for reasonably priced food and drink, 5 mins walk from the beach and around 8mins walk from amenities, Iceland, CoOp, Boots etc and Waterloo station. Very handy for trips to Southport, Liverpool town and on a personal level, close to family. 2 lovely double excellent size bedrooms - the main bedroom was extremely spacious and the bed was huge - made my own feel tiny when i got home! Sky TV, lovely large sofa, well equipped kitchen and lounge area. I have this as my no1 choice for another stay when visiting family, it's spotless and is in a lovely quiet street.

Cons: Only downside was the upstairs shower is a little tight even for someone who is average build but water was hot and there is a downstairs bath with shower but not attached to the wall.

Excellent property in an ideal location.

Pros: Location was excellent, close to all facilities you could need and a great, friendly local pub just down the road. Clean, very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Host was extremely accommodating and efficient. Absolutely we would all return to the property if back in the Crosby area.

Lovely home from home stay

Pros: Adam was a great host- communicated the day before and offered early check in and checked how our stay was going, was very understanding when we broke a lightbulb (already cracked). He offered to meet us at property for check in/out but we were fine with using the key safe. Perfect location for visiting family in Waterloo, having quick access to the beach and train station. Very quick walk to South Road. The house was home from home, very comfortable and spacious. Beds were amazing- highly comfortable. Washing machine and dishwasher was so handy. Kitchen came with everything possibly needed for self catering- even oil, salt and pepper, tea bags. Deep bath and shower hose was great pressure- nice to have bath wash, shampoo and conditioner. Would 100% stay again, sadly you are already booked for new year :(

Cons: Some areas needed some easy redecoration to maintain upkeep of property. Cubicle shower very small- I could not fit in due to door opening width but I am 8 month pregnant. Bath could do with a shower raiser bar- easy solution to have a over bath shower (already have shower curtain) due to above struggles. Full length mirror in bedroom would be ideal

Pros: Cracking little cottage, very warm and cosy. Decorated for Christmas. Really comfy bed and deliciously deep bath.

Pros: A very comfy place and the landlord dealt with a problem swiftly and without any problem

Cons: The sofa was a bit uncomfortable and there were no curtains only blinds

Pros: Fantastic holiday cottage in a wonderful location. Facilities are excellent and we had a fabulous time.

Fab time in Crosby

Pros: So close to dog friendly pubs, the volunteer canteen was a really nice old school pub. Patrons and staff very friendly

Cons: Could have done with some coffee or milk in the fridge but it was very close to a shop to grab it ourselves!

Denk ich an Liverpool, denke ich an Waterloo Sunset - wir fühlten uns heimisch und willkommen

Pros: Für unsere Rundreise suchte ich ein typisches englisches altes Haus und genau das haben wir Waterloo Sunset gefunden. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lädt mit Bildern an den Wänden ein, die Umgebung und Liverpool zu erkundigen. 5 min zu Fuß zu einem außergewöhnlichen Strand mit der Skyline von Liverpool und den ungewöhnlichen Kunstwerken der Ironmen kann man zu jeder Tageszeit Natur und gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen in einem erleben. Für die Selbstversorgung stehen in der Küche alle notwendigen Materialien zur Verfügung. In der Umgebung gibt es fußläufig Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und für die, die nicht kochen wollen, genügend kleine Restaurants und Pubs für jede Geschmacksrichtung.

Cons: Wir waren für die 4 Tage super zufrieden und hätten noch viel länger in dem Haus wohnen können. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich ein Kamin, den wir sehr gern in Aktion erlebt hätten. Aber auch ohne Feuer ist er mit seiner kunstvollen Deko ein Schmuckstück.

Pros: Adorable petite maison très bien agencée et décorée, située tout près de la plage, et aussi des commerces et de la gare. Le gérant est réactif et sympa.
