Pros: Stayed Valentine weekend. The hotel was in a great location for our needs. Walking distance to sea front and Lord street bars and restaurants. Rooms were spotless and tea/ coffee set out. Also had an added bonus of free bottle of Prosecco. Nice touch from owner Caroline. Breakfast choice from either full English, poached egg on toast, continental. Will definitely go back again.

Fantastic hotel

Pros: Caroline was lovely & friendly made us feel very welcome. The hotel was very nice & clean. Breakfast was delicious. Caroline gave us lots of tips and advice on where yo ho and what to do.

Pros: As on a previous visit, Caroline was friendly and welcoming. She provided a tasty full cooked breakfast, with cereal/fruit/juice, toast, tea/coffee. The Adelphi is located centrally, between beach and Lord Street shopping areas, close to eating and drinking places.

Cons: The only minus was that I could have done with a lower, less puffy, pillow. Caroline did look for one for me, but that was only a tiny negative.

Pros: Caroline, the owner is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The room was a little small but well fitted and comfortable

Like staying at home!

Pros: Caroline greeted me with a warm welcome at the very start and l had a lovely room. Guest house is perfectly located and a two mins walk to main shopping area. Although a TV in my room, I used the comfortable lounge with large TV. Whole place just very relaxing, a home from home. You won't starve at breakfast either! Caroline also had ' insider knowledge' of best coffee places and dining.

Cons: Honestly? I can't think of any negatives.
